Terms of Service

By accessing or using BuildVault (buildvault.top and its subdomains), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

BuildVault is a community platform where players share, vote on, and discuss character builds for video games. It is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any game publisher.

All game names, trademarks, and related assets belong to their respective owners. Usage of those names on this platform is purely for identification purposes under nominative fair use.

You must sign in via Google or Discord to submit content. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You retain ownership of the builds, comments, and other content you submit. By submitting content you grant BuildVault a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content as part of the service.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you submit. Content must:

• Be accurate — builds must work as described for the stated patch version
• Not be a duplicate of an existing build without meaningful differentiation
• Not contain spam, advertising, or off-topic material
• Not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• Not contain harmful, abusive, or illegal material

We may remove any content that violates these terms at our discretion, with or without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban.

Users can report problematic builds using the report function. Reports are reviewed by moderators. We do not guarantee a specific response time.

Votes are upvote-only. Vote manipulation (creating multiple accounts to vote for your own builds, coordinating mass votes, or using automation) is prohibited and may result in account termination and score adjustments.

BuildVault is provided as-is, without any warranty of uptime or continued availability. We may modify, suspend, or shut down the service at any time without liability.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

BuildVault is a volunteer-run community project. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service or its content.
